You are what you eat’ is equally true for chickens. The lucky chooks at Rolling Hills have unlimited access to fresh air and organic, spray-free pastures, plus plenty of GE free grains. They are free to do what comes naturally, in small flocks, with safe, cosy nesting boxes. They are allowed to grow and mature naturally, without the use of herbicides, pesticides, growth enhancers or antibiotics. But it’s not just the hens that get plenty of TLC.
Hand collected twice a day, their eggs are chilled and carefully inspected, then sanitized to international food safety standards – eliminating surface bacteria. Rolling Hills organically farmed eggs are an excellent source of protein – containing all the essential amino acids – packed with 13 vitamins plus important minerals including zinc, phosphorus, manganese and iron.
